| Hi. You have reached my personal website, possibly through my former business practice as Didg Information Systems. I am a public servant with the Victorian government and have a portfolio of interests including a professional health and bioinformatics IT practice, conservation volunteering and family business interests. In my role as Senior Health Information Officer I help provide health information and develop corporate performance solutions for Victorian health services. On a day-to-day basis I employ my expertise in SQL Server, SAS, JMP, C++, C#, ArcView, BusinessObjects,@Risk and Office to deliver a portfolio of information products, and help others with their understanding and interpretation. I have FREE software available. It is a Microsoft Office add-in that recognises scientifically-named Australian vertebrates within Word, Excel and Access, and provides direct links to web resources such as the GBIF global specimen location service. Enjoy! In 2004 I published an MSc research thesis on the 'Habitat preferences of terrestrial vertebrates of Weipa, Cape York Peninsula', which showed that the Cape's woodland habitat is as rich in terrestrial mammals, birds, reptiles and frogs as swamps, creeks and mangrove habitats. Contact me for further information. My family business interests include my mother's costume shop Rose Chong Costumes. That said, my main interest is my own little family! |
